Lemon – special olive oil

This olive oil brings a touch of southern flair to your kitchen. If you don’t have a fresh lemon or lime on hand, the lemon oil adds a refreshing kick to any dish. All this in the finest organic quality and harmoniously blended. Perfect for creative cooks who want to create aromatic highlights and love summery dishes.

Tasting Notes

Our own lemons and limes ripen at the same time as the olives. Freshly picked from the tree, they are added to our olives at the oil mill. During this combined processing, the fresh citrus aroma of the lemons and limes is infused into the olive oil. After milling, solids and water are separated during centrifugation, leaving the lemony freshness in the olive oil. The result: a clear, bright oil, cold-extracted, without any added essential oils.

 

What makes it special

Our Lemon olive oil was our very first flavoured olive oil. We first produced it in 2007 and have been continuously refining the recipe ever since. Nearly 20 years of experience that you can taste. We deliberately press the oil in December using riper olives. These are milder compared to earlier harvested olives and don’t overpower the fruity, fresh citrus notes.

 

How to use it

Its uses couldn’t be more versatile. Recommended, for example, for fish, all kinds of salad dressings (be they vinaigrettes or yogurt dressings), or with pasta al limone.
